Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Valid Class B CDL with Passenger and School Bus endorsement.
• DPS Level 1 IVP fingerprint clearance.
• Current Red Cross first aid and CPR certificates or obtain within 10 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Drives a bus on designated routes and activity trips.
• Inspects buses for safety and proper operation.
• Fuels buses and maintains cleanliness.
• Monitors student safety and behavior on board.
• Communicates with parents, staff, and students.
• Completes route changes, mileage and student count paperwork.
