Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• CDL and Arizona School Bus Certification are required.
• DPS fingerprint clearance card is required.
• First aid and CPR certification is required.
• Knowledge of state and local vehicle regulations pertaining to school bus transportation is required.

Responsibilities

• Transport students safely to and from school, on field trips, and other special events.
• Maintain a safe driving record.
• Administer first aid and/or CPR if required.
• Perform pre and post bus inspections and maintain bus cleanliness and operation.
• Record daily mileage and report issues to supervisor.
• Supervise students and reinforce PBIS and CPI strategies.
• Report student misconduct in writing to supervisor and assistant principal.
• Familiarize with routes, policies, and state regulations; follow assigned routes.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

CDL and Arizona School Bus Certification
