Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Pre-employment drug testing required.
• Must possess current Oregon Commercial Driver's license and first aid card; ability to obtain Oregon Department of Education School Bus Drivers Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Drive school buses on regularly scheduled routes and district trips; assist students with special needs.
• Transport students with special needs inside and outside the district.
• Maintain confidentiality of students and follow district safety procedures.
• Obey traffic laws and Oregon regulations for transporting students; apply defensive driving techniques.
• Coordinate with parents and other districts regarding routes and daily operations.
