Job summary

Cherry Creek School District Transportation is seeking a Non-CDL Driver to transport students on district routes and assist in other transportation duties. You will support students with special needs, perform daily vehicle inspections, and ensure safety and courteous service across routes.

The role requires a valid Colorado driver's license, background check, CPR/First Aid certification, and completion of the Transportation Small Vehicle Training Program after hire.

Qualifications

• Formal eligibility to work and pass background checks.
• HSE or equivalent diploma required.
• Ability to comply with DOT physical requirements.
• Ability to work with students with diverse needs.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students on district routes using a district vehicle.
• Load and unload students, providing support for students with special needs as needed.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
• Provide customer service to students, parents, guardians, and staff.
• Carry out student discipline as required on routes.
• Complete Medicaid paperwork for reimbursement.
• Communicate procedures during emergencies to students and staff.
• Maintain clean and presentable district vehicles.
• Participate in required training and drills.
