Job summary

Cherry Creek Schools is seeking a Bus Driver to transport students safely on district routes and field trips. Responsibilities include monitoring student safety at stops and performing post-route office tasks as needed, with duties expanding to clerical support when not driving.

Minimum qualifications include a Colorado CDL Class B with passenger and school bus endorsements, CPR/First Aid, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required.
• High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma is required.
• Colorado driver’s license and CDL Class B with P and S endorsements are required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a clean Colorado DMV record within the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Drive bus to transport students on assigned routes safely and efficiently.
• Perform administrative tasks in the office after completing routes.
• Conduct pre/post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
• Load and unload students at stops and destinations.
• Communicate procedures to students and staff during emergencies.
• Participate in required training sessions annually.
