The position requires a valid AZ teaching certificate, various endorsements, and a background check. A $6,000 stipend and a prorated $750 sign-on are included. 1.0 FTE; on-site locations across the district.

Qualifications

• Valid Arizona teaching certificate required.
• Bachelor's Degree minimum.
• Meets Arizona Department of Education certification requirements.
• Special Education certification appropriate for subject/area.
• Provisional SEI/ESL/Bilingual Endorsement required or encouraged.
• BLE Endorsement preferred.
• ESL Endorsement preferred.
• IVP Fingerprint clearance card required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in TAP accountability system for instruction.
• Attend ongoing applied professional growth groups (clusters).
• Collaborate with mentor and master teachers to enhance expertise.
• Collaborate on lesson planning and develop expertise with mentors.
• Develop an Individual Growth Plan (IGP).
• Use formal and informal assessment to monitor progress toward school goals.
• Align lessons to district curriculum and state standards.
• Demonstrate accurate content knowledge and integrate other content areas.
• Assist in planning individualized education programs through diagnostic teaching and adaptations.
• Conduct instruction with clear objectives and varied instructional approaches.
• Use questioning and higher‑level thinking to challenge students.
• Maintain diverse, inclusive instruction and effective classroom management.
• Integrate educational technology and maintain professional communication.

Education

Bachelor's Degree (minimum requirement)

Valid Arizona teaching certificate

Meets Arizona Department of Education certification requirements
