Job summary

Avondale Elementary School District is seeking a Certified Teacher, Special Education Resource to provide quality classroom instruction aligned with Arizona standards. You will collaborate with master and mentor teachers to improve instructional practice.

The position requires a valid Arizona teaching certificate, SEI/ESL/Bilingual endorsements, and ongoing professional growth through TAP and mentorship. This full-time role includes a $6,000 stipend and prorated sign-on compensation.

Qualifications

• Valid Arizona teaching certificate
• Meets Arizona Dept of Education certification requirements
• Special Education appropriate certification
• Provisional SEI/ESL/Bilingual endorsement required
• Bachelor's Degree (minimum)

Responsibilities

• Participate in TAP accountability system.
• Attend professional growth groups.
• Collaborate with mentor and master teachers on lesson planning.
• Develop an Individual Growth Plan (IGP).
• Align lessons to district curriculum and state standards.
• Maintain accurate records and communication.
