Job summary

Conecta Education is seeking a Special Education Teacher (M/S) in the greater Solano County Area to develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for students with disabilities. The role requires adapting curricula and providing direct instruction across academic, social, communication, and life skills.

Responsibilities include ongoing assessment, collaboration with general education staff and families, maintaining records, supervising support staff, and applying behavior plans when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid California Single Subject or Education Specialist credential (Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe).
• Knowledge of state curriculum standards, IEP development, and special education laws (IDEA, Section 504, ADA).

• 5 days per week, Mon-Fri
• 35hours per week, 8:00 to 3:30 p.m., 1/2 hour unpaid lunch
• Must have a mild/mod
• Elementary or middle school age students
• Pay starts at $73an hour!
