Job summary

Conecta Education is hiring a Special Education Teacher (M/M & M/S) in the greater Contra Costa County Area for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a full-time position from August 2026 to June 2027, 35 hours per week (Mon-Fri) in an SDC setting for elementary students. Must hold a CA Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe credential.

Qualifications

• CA Mild/Moderate or Mod/Severe credential required in CA.
• SDC setting experience helpful for elementary students.
• Full-time position for the 2026-2027 school year.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement instruction for elementary students in an SDC setting.
• Collaborate with general education staff to meet IEP goals.
• Monitor and document student progress and outcomes.
• Maintain compliant, timely IEP procedures and accommodations.

• 35 hours per week, 8:00 am to 3:30p.m. 1/2 hour unpaid lunch
