Job summary

ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education, a ChanceLight® company, is seeking a Special Education Teacher for an Elementary program. The role centers on delivering targeted instruction, designing personalized learning experiences, and aligning with state standards while managing IEPs in a dynamic learning center.

You will collaborate with staff to create inclusive classrooms, implement PBIS, track progress, and tailor approaches for diverse learners with strong emphasis on student

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
• Current IL educator credential or in process.
• IL SSE or LBS1 credential in process or obtained.
• Experience with IEPs and curriculum development.
• Proven ability to implement differentiated instruction.

Responsibilities

• Lead instructional process for Elementary School students with IEPs.
• Deliver differentiated and targeted instruction, including co‑teaching.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and interventions.
• Maintain accurate student files and progress reports.
• Adapt curricula to diverse learning styles and needs.
