ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education, a ChanceLight company, seeks a Special Education Teacher to lead instructional planning for elementary students with IEPs. This role focuses on differentiated instruction, PBIS, and collaborative teaching to support diverse learner needs.

You will design engaging lessons, use technology tools, track progress, and adapt content to meet state standards in an inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
• IL professional educator (PEL) credential in progress or active.
• IL SSE or LBS1 credential in progress or active.

Responsibilities

• Lead instructional process for Elementary School students with IEPs.
• Deliver targeted instruction using diverse curriculums.
• Create detailed daily lesson plans aligned to standards.
• Document student progress and generate reports.
• Collaborate in co‑teaching environments to meet IEP goals.
• Adapt curricula to diverse learning styles and needs.
• Utilize educational software to support learning.
