Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in applicable field of education from a PSC-approved college or university.
• Knowledge of GCPS AKS curriculum and content in certification field.
• Familiarity with IDEIA and due process.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide learning experiences based on the AKS curriculum.
• Demonstrate command of the subject and provide instruction in line with IEPs.
• Collaborate with regular educators to support students with disabilities.
• Develop and prioritize instructional objectives and assessments.
• Organize content and create lesson plans aligned with the AKS.
• Administer and communicate assessment results to parents and teachers.
• Maintain classroom management and effective behavior plans.
• Support professional growth and adhere to district policies.
