Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in applicable field of education from a Professional Standards Commission approved college or university (Required)
• Knowledge of GCPS AKS curriculum and content
• Understanding of teaching/learning process
• IDEIA knowledge and due process awareness
• Experience in integrating curriculum with GCPS policies and instruction

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide learning experiences based on the district's AKS curriculum
• Provide instruction and specially designed instruction for students in special programs
• Collaborate with teachers and administrators on academic and behavioral programs
• Develop and prioritize instructional objectives and assessments
• Administer and interpret assessments and maintain records
• Organize content and environment to maximize student learning
• Utilize effective instructional strategies and technology to enhance learning
• Facilitate professional growth and communicate effectively with families and colleagues
