• Knowledge of child development and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Adapt classroom activities under supervising teacher to reinforce IEP objectives.
• Administer first aid and medical assistance as instructed.
• Administer tests, homework and makeup work to support learning.
• Assist medically fragile students with personal hygiene needs.
• Assist students with disabilities with grooming and daily activities.
• Confer with teachers to evaluate progress and implement IEP objectives.
• Monitor students to provide a safe, positive learning environment.
• Perform record keeping and data collection to support instruction.
• Provide instruction to students in various activities to reinforce objectives.
• Respond to emergencies and assist with crisis intervention.
