Job summary

Springfield Public Schools HS OF SCIENCE TECHNOLOGY in Springfield, MA is seeking a SPED Para Educator to support a small caseload of students with moderate to severe needs. You will work with a veteran special educator to implement rigorous academic and behavior interventions and to help students succeed in the classroom.

Candidates need a high school diploma or GED, 60 college credits or an associate degree, and passing scores on ParaPro or WorkKeys.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily tutoring sessions (1:1 and small groups).
• Communicate effectively with students, families and staff.
