You will implement IEPs, provide small-group instruction for students with moderate to severe cognitive delays, and collaborate with teams to adapt curriculum and assessments to ensure progress within the general curriculum.

Qualifications

• Hold a Bachelor's degree.
• Massachusetts Teaching License in the appropriate content area and Moderate Disabilities for the appropriate grade level.
• SEI Endorsement or ESL License.
• Meet all state and federal guidelines to be fully licensed and Highly Qualified.

Responsibilities

• Implement district learning goals and objectives aligned with state frameworks; identify access points for student portfolio development.
• Provide small-group instruction to students with moderate to severe cognitive delays to ensure progress in the general curriculum.
• Write and implement goals and objectives aligned with IEPs and provide regular progress reports on student development.
• Provide accommodations for learning and testing; develop and implement curriculum and analyze student work for MCAS Alternative Assessment progress.
• Collaborate with staff to support student needs for modification and transition to adult living services as appropriate.
