Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Massachusetts Teaching License in Moderate Disabilities for appropriate grade level.
  • ESL License or SEI Endorsement required.
  • Must meet state/federal licensing requirements to be Highly Qualified.

Responsibilities

  • Implement district and state goals; align with access points for portfolio development.
  • Provide small-group instruction for students with moderate to severe cognitive delays.
  • Write/implement IEP goals; provide progress reports on student development.
  • Provide accommodations; develop curriculum and prepare for MCAS Alternative Assessment as needed.
  • Collaborate with school staff to support modifications and transitions to adult services.
