Job summary

Reports to: Principal/Head of school. Responsibilities include implementing district goals, providing small-group instruction, and developing IEP goals with regular progress reports. Collaboration and transition support are also part of the role.

Qualifications

• Special Education inclusion teaching role with SEI endorsement.
• Familiarity with identifying access points for student portfolio development.
• Experience aligning with district and state frameworks for learning goals.
• Ability to develop and monitor IEP goals and progress reports.

Responsibilities

• Implement district goals and align with state frameworks.
• Provide small-group instruction for students with moderate to severe delays.
• Write and monitor IEP goals and progress.
• Provide accommodations and, if needed, develop curriculum and assess progress for MCAS Alternatives.
• Collaborate with staff to modify instruction and support student needs.
• Assist with transition planning to adult living services as appropriate.
