ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education is seeking an Instructional Aide to support K-12 students in a special education setting. You will implement individualized instruction, monitor progress, and collaborate with teachers to align with each student’s IEP.

The role emphasizes behavioral support, documentation, and school-community engagement. You’ll contribute to student growth, assist with crisis management training, and help students develop essential academic and life skills in

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent w/ passage of basic skills test.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in education or related field preferred.
• Licensed paraprofessional/educational aide credential preferred.
• Ability to obtain crisis management training.
• Experience providing instruction/support to children in special education or behavioral health settings.
• Experience with learning disabilities/autism/ED in students.
• Ability to make quick, calm decisions in emergencies.
• Strong motivational and communication skills for student progress.
• Advanced written and verbal communication, organization, problem solving, and decision making.
• Knowledge of instructional tech and Microsoft Office; basic database entry.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with classroom teachers to create a supportive learning environment.
• Deliver individualized instruction and behavioral interventions on-site and in community settings.
• Monitor student progress and communicate with teachers on outcomes.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information and documentation.
• Prepare behavioral reports, activity logs, and related documentation.
• Assist with collaboration meetings with families and staff.
