Job summary

ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education is seeking an Instructional Aide 1:1 to support a Grade 10 student in a special education setting. You will provide direct, individualized instruction, monitor progress, and collaborate with teachers to implement IEP goals.

The role emphasizes empathy, patience, and effective behavior management within a student-centered environment, with opportunities for growth and development in a mission-driven organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• Paraprofessional credential preferred or in process.
• Crisis management training certification preferred.
• Experience with students in special education or behavioral health settings.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teachers to create a supportive learning environment.
• Deliver individualized instruction and behavioral interventions on-site and in community settings.
• Monitor student progress and communicate with teachers about outcomes.
• Maintain confidentiality of student records and document observations.
• Assist with preparing behavioral reports and activity logs.
