Job summary

Spectrum Center Schools and Programs is seeking an Instructional Aide to support students in grades K-12. You will work with classroom educators to implement IEPs and provide personalized supervision and guidance in both school and community settings.

The role emphasizes patience, empathy, strong communication, and a collaborative approach to help students reach their full potential in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with basic skills test.
• Associate degree or higher in education or related field preferred.
• Ability to obtain CA driver’s license and crisis management certification.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teachers to implement IEPs and tailor instruction.
• Provide instruction, supervision, and guidance to students in classroom and community settings.
• Monitor student progress and communicate with teachers on needs and outcomes.
• Maintain confidentiality and document student behaviors and performance.
• Support and mentor students in developing essential skills and independence.
