Qualifications

• Education: At least 48 college hours required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience: Experience with cognitive and/or pervasive developmental disabilities preferred.
• Certification: Willingness to pursue Special Education certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the educational and social development of students under guidance.
• Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans and monitor progress.
• Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to participate in activities.
• Collaborate with speech, social work, and therapy professionals.
• Maintain student records with classroom teachers.
