Applicants must have a valid ISBE paraprofessional license (or 60 college credits) and CPR

Qualifications

• Must possess valid ISBE paraprofessional license or credentials.
• 60 semester hours of college credit or successful paraprofessional exam.
• Ability to work with students with various disabilities.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• CPR training is desirable; may be required after hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist in instruction of students with disabilities per IEPs.
• Provide one-on-one tutoring and personal care as needed.
• Maintain basic written reports on student progress and behavior.
• Assist teachers in daily classroom activities and field trips.
