Chicago Public Schools is seeking a dedicated Case Manager to lead IDEA/504 processes and ensure compliance district-wide. You will coordinate evaluations, chair IEP/504 conferences, and communicate findings to families in their language when feasible.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's or Master's in Special Education (or a Master’s in Educational Administration), a valid PEL, and at least two years in special education. Strong MTSS knowledge and collaboration with staff are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master’s in Special Education or a Master’s in Educational Administration.
• Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) in Special Education or related supervisory endorsement.
• Two or more years of experience in special education.
• Knowledge of IDEA and Section 504 requirements and timelines.
• Ability to communicate with families in diverse languages when feasible.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the district representative for IDEA and 504 meetings.
• Coordinate referrals and ensure IEP/504 timelines are met.
• Prepare and finalize IEPs and 504 plans with data-driven decisions.
• Communicate with parents in their native language where feasible.
• Collaborate with administrators, staff, and community agencies.
