Chicago Public Schools is seeking a Case Manager to serve as the district representative for IDEA and 504 processes. The role focuses on coordinating evaluations, chairing IEP and 504 conferences, and ensuring timely placement decisions that support students with disabilities.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in special education or Master’s in educational administration.
• Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) in Special Education or with a supervisory endorsement.
• Two or more years of experience in special education.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the district representative at required IDEA meetings and act as 504 Coordinator.
• Lead IEP and 504 conference planning and chairing.
• Ensure IDEA/504 timelines are met and notices/consents are provided.
• Coordinate referrals for full and individual evaluations (FIE) and related assessments.
• Enter student data into the district systems in a timely manner.
• Arrange services per IEP and collaborate with ODLSS and principals.
