Job summary

Chicago Public Schools (CPS) seeks a Case Manager to support students with disabilities under IDEA and Section 504. You will serve as district representative, chair IEP/504 meetings, coordinate evaluations, ensure timelines, and collaborate with families, schools, and specialists to implement IEPs and 504 Plans.

The position requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s in special education or educational administration, a valid Professional Educator License in Special Education or related supervision area,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in special education or Master’s in educational administration.
Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) in Special Education (PK-Age 21) or School Support Personnel with supervisory endorsement.

Responsibilities

Represent the district at required IDEA/504 meetings.
Chair IEP and 504 conferences and coordinate evaluations.
Ensure timelines and parental notices and consents are processed in native language where feasible.
Coordinate referrals for evaluations and ensure completion within 60 school days.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in special education or Master’s degree in educational administration
