Job summary

Chicago Public Schools is seeking a Case Manager to oversee IDEA and Section 504 processes for students with disabilities, chair IEP and 504 conferences, coordinate evaluations, and ensure timely service delivery in line with the district's procedures.

The role collaborates with site administrators and ODLSS, ensures language access, data-driven IEP decisions, and compliant implementation across the school.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in special education or a Master's in educational administration.
• A valid Professional Educator License (PEL) in Special Education or School Support Personnel with supervisory endorsement.
• Two or more years of experience in special education.
• Knowledge of IDEA and Section 504 requirements and CPS resources.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the local school district representative at required meetings under the IDEA and as the 504 Coordinator.
• Chair IEP and 504 conferences and act as District Representative.
• Ensure timely completion of IDEA and Section 504 timelines and proper documentation.
• Coordinate referrals for evaluations and arrange required services.
• Ensure data-driven decisions in IEP development and monitor implementation.
