Job summary

Osseo Area Schools is seeking a dedicated special education paraprofessional to support students and assist the classroom team. You will help implement instructional plans, collect data, and prepare materials to ensure smooth daily operation.

The role is part-time (20 hours per week) with a temporary end date around December 2026, with district training and opportunities to grow professionally. Ability to lift and attend to students' needs is required; HQ status will be considered for

Qualifications

• HQ requirement by start date per Minnesota standards.
• Two years of college credits or associate degree or ParaPro assessment.
• Ability to work with children and communicate with staff and families.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing special education plans and behavior management.
• Support individual or small groups as assigned by teacher.
• Collect data on students and report to supervising staff.
• Prepare and maintain educational materials and equipment.
• Attend staffings and meetings as requested by the supervising teacher.
• Complete student-related forms and data as directed.
