Job summary

Osseo Area School District ISD 279 is seeking a part-time Special Education Paraprofessional to support students under the direction of a supervising teacher. You will assist with instructional plans, group or one-on-one support, data collection, and materials preparation in the classroom.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or equivalent, with HQ status by start date; eligibility via Two years of college, an associate degree, or passing ParaPro/ParaEducator assessments.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• HQ options: Two years of college, an associate degree, or passing ParaPro/ParaEducator/ParaPathwaysAssessment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing the instructional plan for students with special needs.
• Assist in individual or small group instruction under supervision.
• Collect observational data and report to the supervising teacher.
• Prepare and maintain educational materials and equipment.
• Participate in staffings, conferences, and other meetings.
• Complete required forms and data for individual students as directed.
