Osseo Area School District ISD 279, Rush Creek Elementary - 669 in Maple Grove, MN, seeks an Educational Support Professional - Special Education (HQ) for a temporary assignment.

The role supports the special education teacher, works with individuals or small groups, and requires HQ status by the start date per MN DOE. It is a part-time position with a 6-hour daily schedule, starting immediately and ending 11/13/2026.

Qualifications

• HQ status required by start date per Minnesota Department of Education.
• Eligible candidates must meet HQ requirements to work as a special education paraprofessional.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing students' special education instructional plans including physical and behavioral management.
• Assist in implementing and following through on students' individual plans in all program settings.
• Collect observational data about assigned students and report to supervising teacher.
• Prepare, collect and maintain educational materials and equipment.
• Assist in staffings, conferences and any other meetings as requested by the supervising teacher.
• Complete educational forms, reports and other student data as directed.
• Perform other duties as deemed by the team and approved by the Special Education Coordinator.
• Participate in district trainings prior to and during employment.
