Osseo Area School District ISD 279 Edinbrook Elementary in Brooklyn Park, MN seeks an Educational Support Professional - Special Education (HQ) to support students and assist the special education teacher in daily classroom operations. You will work with individuals or small groups to implement student plans and collect data.
The role requires lifting and assisting students with physical needs, with HQ requirements met by relevant credentials.
Competenze
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- HQ requirements per Minnesota Department of Education (two years of college credits or an associate's degree or passing ParaPro/ParaEducator/ParaPathways).
- Ability to lift and attend to physical needs of students.
Mansioni
- Assist in implementing individualized education plans and support physical and behavioral management.
- Assist in preparation, collection and maintenance of educational materials and equipment.
- Collect observational data and report to supervising teacher; participate in meetings and trainings.
- Complete required forms and data related to students in the special education program.
