Job summary

Osseo Area Schools is seeking an Educational Support Professional to join our team for 6 hours daily in a Resource Special Education setting, helping students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally throughout the school day.

The ESP will assist the special education teacher, implement IEP accommodations, collaborate with staff, and participate in district training prior to and during employment. Starting date is immediate, with potential for the week of 10/5/2026.

Qualifications

• HQ status required by start date per Minnesota Department of Education.
• Two years of study at a higher education institution or an associate degree.
• Passing score on ParaPro or equivalent assessment will be provided by the district.

Responsibilities

• Support students with learning activities, routines, and behavior management.
• Implement IEP accommodations and modifications as outlined.
• Collaborate with Special Education teachers and general education staff.
• Assist students in achieving individualized academic and functional goals.
• Provide safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environments.
• Participate in district training before and during employment.
