Job summary

Spectrum Center Schools and Programs, a division of ChanceLight, seeks an Instructional Aide II to support K-12 students in a dynamic special education setting. You will implement individualized strategies, collaborate with teachers, and help foster student success in classroom and community activities.

The role emphasizes data-informed progress, crisis intervention, and safety, with opportunities for growth within a mission-driven, student-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in education or a closely related field.
• Ability to obtain CA Emergency 30 Day Sub Permit within 90 days.
• CA state driver's license is required or obtainable.
• Experience with special education and behavioral health settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized support to K-12 students in special education, aligned with IEP/ITP/PBIP.
• Collaborate with teachers to implement individualized strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and data.
• Provide crisis intervention and ensure student and staff safety.
• Assist with transportation and supervision, including field/community activities.
