Job summary

Spectrum Center Schools and Programs is seeking an Instructional Aide II to support students in Grades K-12 within a dynamic Special Education team. You will implement individualized strategies and assist teachers to enhance learning in a safe, engaging environment.

Responsibilities include delivering personalized curriculum, documenting progress, collecting data, and providing transportation and crisis intervention when needed. Collaboration and compassionate support are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in education or related field.
• CA Emergency 30 Day Sub Permit within 90 days.
• CA driver's license.
• Crisis management training certification.
• 3+ years of instruction/support experience with children.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized curriculum aligned with IEP/ITP/PBIP and support classroom objectives.
• Consult with supervisor on student progress and IEP adjustments.
• Document student behaviors and share insights with staff.
• Provide transportation and supervision as needed on Spectrum vehicles.
• Assist with classroom management, planning, and substitute teaching.
