Job summary

Spectrum Center Schools and Programs seeks an Instructional Aide II to join its Special Education team. You will deliver personalized student support in Grades K-12, collaborate with teachers, implement IEP/ITP/PBIP strategies, and help with data collection, behavior plans, and safety.

You’ll assist with classroom operations, provide crisis intervention, and support vocational training and transportation as needed. A CA educator permit and driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in education or related field.
• Ability to obtain CA Emergency 30 Day Sub Permit within 90 days.
• Valid CA driver's license and crisis management training.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized support to students in Grades K-12 using IEP/ITP/PBIP.
• Collaborate with teachers to implement individualized strategies.
• Document behaviors and contribute to progress reports and data sheets.
• Provide crisis intervention and maintain student safety.
• Support with job coaching, transportation, and classroom operations.
