ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education is seeking an Instructional Aide to join our Special Education team and support Grades K-12 students. You’ll implement individualized instruction, assist with IEPs, and help students develop essential skills in classrooms and community settings.

Working closely with teachers, you will monitor progress, maintain records, and contribute to a positive, outcome-driven environment that emphasizes student growth and safety.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent; basic skills test passed.
• Associate degree or higher preferred in education or related field.
• Paraprofessional/educational aide credential preferred; crisis management cert may be obtained.
• Experience providing instruction, guidance and support to children, preferably in special education or behavioral health.
• Experience with students with learning disabilities, autism, or emotional/behavioral disorders.
• Ability to think quickly and calmly in emergencies and make independent decisions.
• Strong oral and written communication, organization, problem solving and decision-making.
• Knowledge of instructional technology, Microsoft Office, and basic office equipment.
