Job summary

ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education is seeking an Instructional Aide to support K-12 students in a Special Education program. The role focuses on implementing IEP goals, assisting classroom teachers, and fostering a compassionate, student-centered learning environment.

You will help with individualized instruction, behavior support, and progress monitoring while collaborating with staff, families, and administration to promote positive outcomes and skill development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with basic skills test.
• Associate degree or higher in education or a related field preferred.
• Paraprofessional/educational aide credential preferred; crisis management training preferred.
• Experience providing instruction or support to children in education or behavioral health settings.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with classroom teachers to create a supportive learning environment.
• Provide individualized instruction and behavioral interventions on-site and in community settings.
• Monitor student progress and communicate with teachers about needs and outcomes.
• Assist with documentation, reports, and data collection on student performance.
• Maintain confidentiality of student records and participate in accreditation activities.
