Job summary

ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education is seeking an Instructional Aide to support students in grades 6-8. You will assist with implementing IEPs, provide personalized instruction and supervision, and collaborate with teachers to foster a safe, high‑achieving classroom and community learning environment.

Starting pay ranges from $18 to $22 per hour, with offers based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent w/ passage of basic skills test.
• Associate degree or higher in education or related field preferred.
• Licensed paraprofessional/educational aide credential preferred.
• Experience instructing and supporting children, especially in special education.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teachers to create a supportive, high‑achieving learning environment.
• Implement individualized instruction and behavioral interventions on-site and in the community.
• Monitor and document student progress and instructional fidelity throughout lessons.
• Communicate with teachers and administration about student needs and outcomes.
