Job summary

Elara Caring seeks a Special Care Aide (SCA) for a PRN, flexible schedule. You’ll be the first face new clients see, helping create a positive experience from day one while traveling between visits in the assigned service area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required where state regulations apply.
• Six months of caregiving experience with elderly or disabled individuals.
• Certification as HHA, PCA, CNA or similar where required.

Responsibilities

• Support new client admissions and Start of Care visits.
• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming and hygiene.
• Prepare meals and assist with daily living activities.
• Perform light housekeeping and transportation when needed.
• Travel throughout the service area to support clients.
• Document visits and report changes in client condition.
