Job summary

S&ME invites motivated students to join its Spark Summer Internship Program for 2027 across Civil, Environmental, Construction, Geotechnical Engineering. You will work with professional-owners, be part of a cohort, and gain hands-on, mentored experience across multiple service lines.

Open to current students from diverse backgrounds; candidates should be available May-August 2027, with travel as needed. Housing is not provided, and visa assistance is not offered.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a related degree program; Rising Juniors, Seniors, or Graduate students preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Out of town travel may be required.
• For technical roles the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions is required.
• Routine lifting may be required: 40 to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Learn from experienced professionals within your area of interest.
• Be part of an intern cohort and learn all aspects of S&ME.
• Gain hands-on experience across Civil/Environmental/Construction/Geotechnical Engineering.
