S&ME, a leading employee-owned engineering firm, invites students to apply for the 2027 Spark Summer Internship Program in Civil, Environmental, Construction, and Geotechnical Engineering. You’ll join a cohort, gain hands-on experience, and learn from technical experts across the company.

Qualifications

Enrolled in a related degree program; Rising Juniors, Seniors, or Graduate students preferred.
Related experience and/or campus, community, work-related leadership experience preferred.
At least 18 years of age.
Out of town travel may be required.
For technical roles the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions is required.
Routine lifting may be required: 40 to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Learn and work alongside professional engineers within Civil/Environmental/Construction/Geotechnical areas.
Be part of an intern cohort and gain hands-on experience across service lines.
Receive professional development to bridge campus to career in the engineering industry.
Collaborate with technical staff on real-world projects during the 12-week program.
