S&ME is offering the 2027 Spark Summer Internship across Civil, Environmental, Construction, and Geotechnical Engineering in Huntsville, AL. Interns will work with experienced employee-owners on live projects during a 12-week program from May 2027 through August 2027.

Opportunities include professional development and hands-on exposure to multiple service lines. Housing is not provided, and visa assistance is not offered.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a related degree program; Rising Juniors, Seniors, or Graduate students preferred.
• Related experience and/or campus, community, work-related leadership experience preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Out of town travel may be required;
• For technical roles the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions is required.
• Routine lifting may be required: 40 to 50 lbs.
