Empower seeks a Retirement Plan Counselor in Portland, OR to deliver on-site and virtual education and enrollment for 401(k)/(a), 403(b), and Government 457 plans. You will work with clients, manage travel, and collaborate with relationship managers to optimize participant outcomes.

The role requires Spanish fluency, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and 2–4 years in financial services. Travel with overnight stays is expected; FINRA licenses are required. Competitive benefits follow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 2–4 years financial services experience
• Strong presentation skills
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams
• Fluent in Spanish
• FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 registrations within established timelines
• Availability to travel with overnight stays
• FINRA fingerprinting required

Responsibilities

• Develop and facilitate communication and education strategies for participants using virtual and on-site meetings
• Drive participants to enroll, increase deferrals, and roll over accounts
• Meet service level agreements and achieve business results
• Complete reporting required in systems and logs
• Build strong relationships with plan contacts, sponsors and stakeholders
• Manage meeting schedules and travel arrangements
• Provide feedback on materials and strategies to relationship managers
• Attend client meetings with service teams
• May participate in finals presentations for new prospects in the territory
