Job summary

Empower LLC in Portland, OR is seeking a Retirement Plan Counselor to deliver on-site and virtual education and enrollment for 401(k), 403(b), and Government 457 participants. Travel with overnight stays will be required; Spanish fluency is essential while serving diverse client bases.

You will work with plan sponsors, internal stakeholders, and the relationship management team to drive enrollment and deferral increases, while tracking outcomes and maintaining strong territory management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience considered for the role.
• 2–4 years relevant financial services experience.
• FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 registrations required.
• Fluent in Spanish and able to travel with overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on-site and virtual education and enrollment presentations.
• Drive participants to take actions: enroll, increase deferrals, rollovers.
• Log meetings, attendees and outcomes in required systems and report timely.
• Build relationships with plan sponsors, stakeholders and internal teams.
• Manage travel and meeting schedules; attend client meetings with service teams.
• Provide feedback on materials and support finals presentations for prospects.
