Job summary

Empower Retirement in Pasadena, CA is seeking a Retirement Plan Counselor to deliver on-site and virtual education and enrollment presentations for 401(k)/(a), 403(b), and Government 457 plan participants. You will use Empower's technology to influence outcomes and support key stakeholder relationships across the territory.

The role requires FINRA Series 6 and 63, strong presentation skills, and the ability to travel regularly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2-4 years in financial services.
• Strong presentation skills required.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
• Strong relationship building and territory management skills.
• FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 registrations within established timelines.
• FINRA fingerprinting required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on-site and virtual education and enrollment presentations.
• Drive plan enrollment, deferral increases and rollovers.
• Meet service levels and log meetings, attendees and outcomes.
• Build relationships with plan sponsors and internal stakeholders.
• Manage meeting schedules and travel arrangements.
• Provide feedback on communication materials and strategies.
• Attend client meetings with service teams.
