Job Title: Call Center Representative

Location: United States, Texas, Austin

Compensation and Benefits: $20.00/hr, medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, disability, HSA, transportation benefits, PTO, and more.

Job Description

The Call Center Representative primarily handles inbound calls to process PCP Change Requests, send member ID cards, assist members with portal login, and update member demographics. Reporting to the Manager of Business Development, the role involves managing high call volumes, following scripts, identifying customer needs, clarifying information, assisting with enrollment using sales techniques, and maintaining accurate records to meet team and individual targets.

Essential Duties
  1. Respond to customer inquiries via inbound and outbound calls.
  2. Access and interpret customer accounts and provider data to provide accurate answers.
  3. Assist customers with enrollment processes using sales techniques.
  4. Document all customer interactions thoroughly.
  5. Maintain and report issues with communication equipment.
  6. Complete projects aligned with sales and organizational goals.
  7. Adhere to quality and production standards.
  8. Protect customer privacy and company proprietary information.
  9. Maintain a regular, predictable work schedule.
Skills and Qualifications
  • 1-2 years experience in insurance sales, call center, or related fields, with preferred experience in Marketplace enrollment or managed care.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.
  • Ability to connect directly to a modem is necessary.
  • Knowledge of health insurance and call center operations is highly advantageous.
