Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Manufacturing Planner to support New Glenn sub-assembly processes and translate engineering intent into hardware ready for test, qualification, and flight.

You will identify methods to improve quality, reduce cost, and optimize build sequences and schedules while working closely with design, test, and operations teams to ensure manufacturability and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical trade school with 3+ years related experience.
• 1+ years of manufacturing experience; hardware manufacturing incl. structures, fluid systems, mechanical systems, or avionics.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and GD&T.
• Strong CAD, scheduling, and office software skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain design/configuration integrity of complex components and subassemblies.
• Liaise between design, test, operations, and customers.
• Lead producibility improvements via work instructions and process enhancements.
• Support manufacturing floor with assembly, compliance, testing, and acceptance.
