Job summary

Blue Origin in the United States is seeking a mechanical/manufacturing engineer to lead the integration of components for New Glenn. You will develop work instructions, manage build sequences, and ensure manufacturability while driving quality across the full manufacturing process.

This role requires hands-on engineering with MBOM, root-cause analysis, and strong CAD skills. Relocation may be provided and multiple positions are available.

Qualifications

• Experience with aircraft, spacecraft, launch vehicle structures or automotive manufacturing.
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial or Aerospace Engineering.
• Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals for mechanical design and manufacturing including GD&T.
• Ability to manage a manufacturing MBOM, author work instructions, and disposition non-conforming material.

Responsibilities

• Develop manufacturing work instructions for composites fabrication, inspection, trimming, and assembly.
• Manage quality, build sequence, and schedule of hardware throughout manufacturing.
• Perform engineering drawing review and provide final approval for manufacturing.
• Define and support repair and rework activities; perform root cause analyses for non-conformances.
