Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Launch Operations Engineer to lead the design and implementation of efficient manufacturing and launch systems for the New Glenn program. You will own planning and execution of launch vehicle testing and configurations, coordinating with design, quality, and supply chain to streamline operations and reduce costs.

Responsibilities include developing test procedures, maintaining documentation, and driving improvements across manufacturing and test activities to enable

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or process engineering demonstrated at Level II/III/SR levels.
  • 1+ year of experience creating English work instructions.
  • Ability to work second shift and flexible to extended hours if required.

Responsibilities

  • Industrialize new products in solar arrays, integration and test, avionics, and structures.
  • Translate requirements into robust manufacturing processes to support mission.
  • Collaborate with design, QA, supply chain, and production to accelerate space hardware readiness.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation including work instructions and process flows.
  • Evaluate new manufacturing technologies and test methods for space hardware.
