Umbra is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager for its Space Systems Business Group to lead and mentor a multi-disciplinary team responsible for design, test, and support of satellite technology. This role reports to the VP of Space Systems and collaborates with hardware, software, and product teams to drive cutting-edge solutions.

You will oversee staffing, performance, and career development while coordinating with senior leadership to ensure quality, schedule, and cost objectives are met

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related STEM field required.
• 10+ years in aerospace engineering with 5+ years in space vehicle design.
• 5+ years of direct engineering personnel management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide multi-disciplined Space Systems engineering teams.
• Support professional growth and succession planning for engineers.
• Drive process improvements in space vehicle design and development.
